On Second Thought — Second-Year MFA Exhibition, 2026
From January 29 to February 12, 2026, I participated in On Second Thought, the Second-Year MFA Exhibition at the AAHD Gallery in Riley Hall, University of Notre Dame. The exhibition brought together the five artists and designers in my MFA cohort: Claire Murphy in painting and drawing, Sara Motallebi and Emma Brooks in visual communication design, Grace Gao in photography, and myself in ceramics. Presented midway through our graduate studies, the exhibition offered a view of how each practice had developed since entering the program, bringing together work across different media, methods, and research interests. The opening reception took place on January 29 at the AAHD Gallery.
