La Chinche – Museo Experimental el Eco, 2014
In 2014, I participated in La Chinche, a project organized by Museo Experimental el Eco that revisited the small independent gallery founded by Xavier Girón and Pedro Friedeberg in Mexico City in 1979. For the new version, El Eco used a display window on Amberes Street in the Zona Rosa as an exhibition space, inviting different artists to develop individual interventions throughout the year. My exhibition ran from September 25 to October 25 and presented Dispositivo condensador de agua para generar tornados. The project extended the museum beyond its physical location, placing the work directly in the street and creating the possibility of encounters with viewers outside the conventional museum setting.
