In February 2016, I was selected through the open call for the fourth edition of Salón ACME in Mexico City. The exhibition took place from February 4 to 7 at Gobernador Rafael Rebollar 95 in San Miguel Chapultepec. More than 500 proposals were submitted to the open call, from which 52 artists were selected to exhibit. The curatorial board included Patricia Martín, Gonzalo Lebrija, Óscar Benassini, Paula Duarte, Santiago Merino, Fritzia Irízar, and Carmen Cebreros. Salón ACME was created as an artist-centered platform for presenting emerging and independent contemporary practices, and participation in this edition placed my work within a broad national gathering of artists, curators, galleries, collectors, and other cultural agents.
